Spam Alert: Fraudulent Email Sent in the Name of "Obayashi Electric Inc"

We have received reports that deceptive emails have been sent to personal addresses in the name of "Norikazu Asano" or "Akiyoshi Ozawa" of "Obayashi Electric Inc.," which has the same address as Obayashi Corporation head office in Japan (Shinagawa Intercity Tower B, 2-15-2, Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo 108-8502, Japan).
These emails describe that Obayashi Electric Inc. needs a business partnership for their debt collection in North America.

There is also a company website "www.obayashi-electric-jp.com" which shows their company address as the same address as Obayashi Corporation head office. However, Obayashi Group does not have this URL, "www.obayashi-electric-jp.com", and has no relationship with this website.

These emails are intended to get contact information and to acquire personal information illegally. These emails are in no way associated with Obayashi Corporation and Obayashi Group companies.

Obayashi Corporation and Obayashi Group companies will never do such recruiting activities, nor have such group company, and we do not have any involvement with the individual named in the emails.

If you have received this spam email messages, please be reminded that you should never respond to them, and avoid access to any email addresses or hyperlinks if any contained within it.
