Joining the Iku-Boss Corporate Alliance and declaration of “Iku-Boss” by President Hasuwa

On December 24, 2021, Obayashi joined the Iku-Boss Corporate Alliance organized by Fathering Japan, a specified non-profit organization, and President Hasuwa made the declaration of “Iku-boss.”

The Iku-Boss Corporate Alliance, which now has more than 240 company members, is a network of companies aiming for the development of “Iku-boss” (*) by raising the awareness of management personnel at each member company for realization of the good work-life balance of employees. The member companies openly declare they will work on creating an environment where employees can raise children without worry with a good work-life balance in the Iku-Boss declaration.

*Iku-Boss refers to managers (senior executives and management personnel) who enjoy their work and private lives and succeed in an organization while supporting the professional career and personal life of subordinates

Taking this opportunity of joining the Iku-Boss Corporate Alliance and the “Iku-Boss” declaration by President Hasuwa, the Obayashi Group will promote diversity and inclusion further and enhance the workplace environment where every single employee can work energetically.
