Completion of the filling of the embankment of the Aigawa Dam

On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, the filling of the embankment of the Aigawa Dam was completed, and a ceremony was held to mark the completion of the filling.
A total of 435,758 people have been involved in the construction since the start of work, and the embankment was successfully completed 1 year and 10 months after the start of core filling on March 11, 2020.
The construction of water intake and discharge facilities and foundation treatment work will be completed, and test water flooding is scheduled to begin in 2022.
