多目的風洞施設 <Multipurpose Wind Tunnel>

風の影響を事前に予測し、防ぎます。

都市の中に高層ビルを建てたときに周囲に及ぼす風の影響や高層ビル自身が受ける風の影響を調べるために使用します。 写真の測定部は３m×３mの内空断面で、最大風速４０m/secの業界最大級の施設です。

With the wind tunnel we investigate the wind environment around high-rise buildings in urban areas and wind effects on structures. The photograph shows the inner section with dimensions of 3 m in width, 3 m in height where models experience a maximum wind velocity of 40 m per second. This is one of the largest facilities in the general contract industry in Japan.

無響室 <Anechoic Room>

快適な暮らしのために音環境を考えます。

無響室は壁、床、天井が厚さ８０ｃｍの楔形グラスウールからできています。音響伝播などの解析結果の評価などに使用します。

The walls, floor and ceiling of the anechoic room have the sound absorptive finish such that practically no sound is reflected from them.In this room we make a scale model experiment for noise control, etc.
