Adoption of JP-MIRAI Assist, a Consultation and Remedy Service for Migrant Workers

Sustainability

Obayashi Corporation has adopted JP-MIRAI Assist, a consultation and remedy service for migrant workers operated by General Incorporated Association JP-MIRAI, to improve the working and living environments of non-Japanese workers engaged in the supply chains of Obayashi Group's operations in Japan.

The Obayashi Group implements human rights due diligence across the entire group, including its supply chains. It works to resolve human rights problems by identifying individual risks and incorporating measures to reduce those risks into work processes. By introducing the JP-MIRAI Assist service, the Group aims at establishing a system to provide relief for non-Japanese workers engaged in the supply chains of its domestic operations.

With the objective of becoming a corporate group that values people, the Obayashi Group will continue to respect the human rights of all people that have a stake in its business.
