Obayashi Corporation was named to Dow Jones Sustainability Index Asia Pacific (DJSI Asia Pacific), one of the leading global indices on sustainability, for the third consecutive year since 2011.

Jointly provided by S&P Dow Jones Indices of the United States and RobecoSAM of Switzerland, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) is an important benchmark for global investments, which evaluates sustainability in terms of corporate economic, environmental and social performance.

For the year 2013-2014, DJSI Asia Pacific, specifically designed for accessing companies in Asia Pacific area, captured the 152 companies including 68 Japanese companies.

Obayashi will contribute to realize a sustainable society through its business activities, and aim to be a company that continually develops along with the society.
