The SmoothBoard method is a stay-in-place formwork construction method using high-strength cement boards reinforced with short fibers (SmoothBoard).
SmoothBoard has high toughness and is durable against deterioration factors despite its thin wall and light weight. Concrete structures will be more durable when SmoothBoard is used as the surface protection material for new or existing structures.
SmoothBoard can also be used as a structural member for railway viaduct reinforcement projects.

High Performance Surface Protection

- By applying a water absorption modifier to the back of the mesh board, high adhesion with the concrete fill or mortar can be maintained for extended periods.
- SmoothBoard has a sealing effect during the initial curing of concrete, blocking deterioration factors such as carbon dioxide gas and salt after the curing is complete.
- SmoothBoard also protects concrete surfaces from frost damage in cold climates.
