This is a concrete gravity dam aiming for flood control, stable intake of water, preservation of the riverbank environment and a secure water supply. In a harsh climate where temperatures can drop to as low as –15°C (5°F) in winter, we engaged in measures covering a concrete surface with high quality insulation sheet in order to preserve the quality of the concrete. The design of this dam is in harmony with the surrounding greenery.
