Located on Port Island in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, this training facility serves as a hub for disseminating hydrogen energy technologies. The building features a hybrid structure combining timber and steel, incorporating the fire resistant timber system “O·MegaWood,” which contributes to carbon fixation. It also utilizes environmentally conscious energy systems, including pure hydrogen fuel cells, carbon offset LP gas, and solar power, resulting in a highly sustainable building.
