Used as the main stadium for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, "Stadium Australia" has housed many heart-moving dramas. Obayashi Corporation participated in this BOT Method Project as the overall consultant and took charge of planning the construction.

A key design feature of this stadium is the beautiful curve-drawing, large roof. It is supported by an enormous, long arch that has a span of 295.6m, and since polycarbonate was used , it lets sunlight through and is very lightweight.
