Thai Obayashi, in which we hold a 49% share, was founded in1974 as a joint venture with local companies. Thanks to growth in public and private sectors, Thai Obayashi has become one of Thailand's premier construction firms. Thai Obayashi completed its own office building, the Nantawan Building, in 1991.

Founded in 1972 as a joint venture with a local Indonesian company, PT. Jaya Obayashi was our first overseas subsidiary. Over the past quarter century, the firm, 85% owned by Obayashi, has earned an excellent reputation in projects ranging from factories to high-rise office buildings and high-profile infrastructure construction. Lately, it has also worked on industrial parks and golf courses.

Obayashi Corporation has set the first footsteps into Vietnam since 1992 with representative offices in Hanoi and Hochiminh. Year by year, Obayashi Corporation has been known as one of the best foreign contractors in Vietnam with remarkable projects both in state and private sectors. With the desire to expand construction activities and contribute the advanced technology to construction field of Vietnam, Obayashi Vietnam Corporation was established in 2006. From the establishment date, the Management Board and staff pledge that we always do the best for all customers' satisfaction on both the construction quality and harmonious beauty with the surrounding area.

Based on various project experiences accumulated in Taiwan, such as offices, condominiums, hotels, High Speed Rail stations, MRT stations, etc., Taiwan Obayashi Corporation will provide high technical capabilities to clients.
