Due to the lifting of a declaration of a nationwide state of emergency by the Japanese government on May 25, Obayashi decided to restart all construction that had been suspended during the period.

Measures of "telecommuting in principle" at offices throughout Japan will be mitigated, but for the time being, Obayashi will continue telecommuting at offices with an implementation rate of 50% as a guide. Employees having difficulties telecommuting will take measures to avoid "three Cs" (Close contacts, Crowded places and Closed spaces) such as coming to work at flexible time.
