TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY THE LINKPILLAR 2
A mixed-use complex based on the concept of “Japan Symphony” has been developed in front of Takanawa Gateway Station on the JR Yamanote Line. The project features a high-rise tower approximately 170 meters tall and involved deep excavation reaching about 36 meters below ground, for which the top-down construction method was adopted. In addition, Obayashi Corporation’s proprietary technologies, including the visual schedule management system “ProMIE™” and a fireproof coating spray robot, were utilized to enhance quality control and productivity. With the completion of this facility, TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY has officially opened.
