A pair of landmark twin towers rising approximately 160 meters has been completed in front of JR Yamanote Line’s Takanawa Gateway Station, forming a new symbol of international exchange. A completely new urban district has opened in Takanawa—the birthplace of innovation where Japan’s first railway ran over the sea more than 150 years ago.

Located on Port Island in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, this training facility serves as a hub for disseminating hydrogen energy technologies. The building features a hybrid structure combining timber and steel, incorporating the fire resistant timber system “O·MegaWood,” which contributes to carbon fixation. It also utilizes environmentally conscious energy systems, including pure hydrogen fuel cells, carbon offset LP gas, and solar power, resulting in a highly sustainable building.

This project is the third of six wind power plants being constructed across the northern Hokkaido region as part of the Dohoku Wind Power Generation Project. It involves the installation of 15 wind turbines, each with an output of 4,300 kW—among the largest in Japan—providing power equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 47,000 households.

Situated within Singapore’s Mandai Wildlife Reserve—home to the Night Safari and River Wonders—the newly established bird park is now inhabited by 3,500 birds representing 400 species. While preserving existing tree clusters, we constructed a vast and specialized structure of 100,000 m² using large scale aviary mesh suitable for housing large bird species.

This major development occupies what has long been known as “the last prime site in Osaka,” located north of JR Osaka Station. Amid numerous surrounding infrastructure works, including the new Umekita Station, we constructed the Grand Green Osaka Park Tower (South Tower). Serving as the main tower of the Umekita Phase 2 district, it features a super luxury hotel, office floors, retail facilities, and comprehensive MICE functions.
